Related Redefines the Guest Experience at Hudson Yards

As it relaunched in late September, Hudson Yards was excited to showcase HY Delivers, the premier contactless food delivery, catering, and pickup service. Working in partnership with Related Restaurant Group, Bbot developed the platform as an amenity for the residents, employees, and visitors of the neighborhood.  

Upon visiting Hudson Yards, guests can place orders ahead of time, and shop while the food is being prepared for an immersive experience. To make things sweeter, Hudson Yards is offering guests 10% off their orders with the code “welcomeback.”

In addition to pickup, employees and residents can place orders for immediate or future delivery, as well as via catering to treat their teams to lunch. Orders will be delivered directly to the office floor or apartment door, and guests picking up will receive a text message letting them know that their order is ready and where it will be.

Bbot and Hudson Yards entered a partnership during the second quarter of 2019 to bring high-quality contactless dining to Manhattan. Restaurants on the property saw their revenue increase, and customers were delighted by the new experience.

Following the start of the coronavirus outbreak in the United States, Bbot stepped up their efforts to assist affected customers in digitizing their menus, accepting payments remotely, and providing a safer customer experience.

As lockdowns are easing across the country, hospitality providers are discovering creative ways of serving their guests. To assist vendors with more complex dining arrangements such as food halls or other multi-vendor establishments, Bbot offers a solution for any complex venue.

Guests will be able to order from multiple vendors in one convenient online platform and checkout only once -- without having to download an app or create an account. Behind the scenes, each vendor will be separately notified of the orders they need to fulfill. Once their orders have been completed by receiving an automated text message as soon as the restaurant marks the ticket as ready.

This complex venue solution is able to serve venues as unique as large resorts or small cities. Our solution also integrates with driver networks like Doordash Drive, Orkestro, Stuart, Relay, and more.

Guests can scan a QR Code or visit www.hudsonyards.menu to view the digital menus, place orders, and taste a selection of the celebrated restaurant offerings from Hudson Yards. A few of the restaurants that guests will be able to order from include:

  • Van Leeuwen: Classic and vegan ice cream, cookies, and shakes, all made from scratch in Brooklyn. Catering, private events, truck rentals, and ice cream carts available for your next event.
  • Queensyard: A European-inspired all-day café, restaurant, and bar from D&D London featuring modern British fare with cross-Atlantic influences.
  • Bluestone Lane: A warm, personalized daily escape through Australian-influenced premium coffee and healthy eats.

With access to the wide array of restaurants at Hudson Yards, visitors can place their orders, then opt to climb steps of The Vessel, take in the views from The Edge, or shop amongst the five floors of curated retail, while their food is prepared.
